Working with brokers to provide payment solutions to customers who prefer to pay premiums monthly rather than annually, IPFS Canada needed a provider who could connect their platform to their partners’ different platforms. That’s where we came in, not just to solve a technology challenge but position them to bring more brokers on board.
Learning about IPFS Canada and their technology platform was only a start.
The challenge was (and is) to make arranging payments for insurance buyers quick and easy. That meant integrating IPFS Canada's management system with the broker’s management systems seamlessly. Since IPFS Canada is constantly seeking to engage new brokers, we’re constantly having to inform ourselves about their systems and adapt our integration solutions to each new case.
Getting broker buy-in is vital.
Each new broker needs to know that IPFS Canada’s system can work with their own, so that arranging IPFS Canada's payment solutions places no undue burden on them or their customers. To smooth the way, we meet with IPFS Canada’s broker clients directly to discuss their development needs and navigate paths to integration all parties find doable. We are also in regular discussion with IPFS Canada to establish a rhythm of perpetual enhancement and innovation in the integrations they can offer to existing and prospective partners.
We build solutions—and sales!
Our solutions ensure that IPFS Canada’s client brokers can generate payments quotes and agreements in a streamlined way from within their own system, whatever form that system takes. Since our engagement is ongoing, we never stop building. With our role as technical advisors shading into that of sales advisors, we work with the IPFS Canada's sales team to develop marketing opportunities by advising them on how to accommodate the technical needs of brokers they haven’t yet enlisted.
“They think about our customers and what our customers will want.”
That’s how IPFS Canada describes us. They value not only how our work helps them land millions in new business with thousands of accounts but how it contributes to “stickiness.” “When you get your customers and their customers integrated and locked into your system, they tend to stick with you for a long time.” Those are best kind of sales.
